The Department of Strategy Development, which was not included in the legislation from the year it was established until 2011, was established by Law No. 6112 on the Establishment and Broadcasting Services of Radio and Television, which entered into force on March 3, 2011. Although Law No. 5018 does not require regulatory and supervisory boards to prepare strategic plans, pursuant to Article 37 of Law No. 6112, which defines the duties and powers of the Supreme Council, the responsibility for preparing the Strategic Plan has been assigned to the Department of Strategy Development by the relevant regulation. In addition, the Department of Strategy Development is responsible for the Standard File Plan, Service Standards Table, Service Inventory, Sector Report, Activity Reports, and Corporate Identity Guide.
