Media Cooperation Protocol is on the Agenda at President Erdoğan's Visit to Pakistan
A new era begins in the regulation of media and broadcasting services between Türkiye and Pakistan.
The Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) held preliminary talks with the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) delegation during President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's official visit to Pakistan, within the scope of the cooperation protocol planned to be signed soon in Islamabad.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that the cooperation protocol planned to be signed in the near future will further strengthen the close relations between the two brotherly countries in the field of audiovisual media. It was also mentioned that the mutual sharing of experience between the two regulatory authorities would bring existing capabilities to a higher level. It was stated that stronger cooperation activities in media and broadcasting services and technical issues between the two brotherly countries will be achieved by the two authorities as soon as possible.
The PEMRA delegation expressed its satisfaction with the meeting and potential future collaborations.
