Pakistani journalists came together with RTÜK authorities. On behalf of RTÜK, RTÜK Deputy President Orhan Karadaş and RTÜK President Associate Dr. İbrahim USLU attended the meeting at the RTÜK premise in Ankara where Press Attaché of the Embassy of Pakistan to Türkiye, Mahroo Arshad participated with his delegation composed of journalists.

The delegation was given during the meeting a detailed information on RTÜK’s missions and its operations.

Expressing his gratitude in meeting with the delegation, Karadaş said, "We want to establish a constructive cooperation between Türkiye and Pakistan in the field of media. The meeting we held today was an important step to reinforce mutual understanding and find solutions to the problems in the media sector."

Karadaş stated that the media serves as a bridge between societies and added, "Media plays an important role in strengthening cultural exchanges, reciprocal understanding and friendship. Türkiye and Pakistan should become closer to each other through media and deepen their cooperation for common interests."
