RTÜK Hosts Delegation from the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission
The Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) recently hosted a delegation from the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPI), welcomed by RTÜK Vice President Deniz Güler. KPI Vice President Mohamad Reza and Secretary General Umri led the delegation in discussions at RTÜK, where representatives from Turkey and Indonesia engaged in a meaningful exchange of insights and experiences in media regulation.
The program began with an introduction to RTÜK. During the presentation by the Monitoring and Evaluation Department, information was provided on RTÜK’s processes for content monitoring and regulation. The delegation also visited RTÜK’s Digital Recording Archive Analysis System (SKAAS) center, where they observed the technological infrastructure and data archiving methods used in RTÜK’s broadcast analyses.
The Permits and Allocations Department presented procedures related to licensing and allocation for broadcasting organizations. In the final part of the visit, the Public Opinion, Broadcast Research, and Measurement Department shared RTÜK’s work on public opinion research, viewer behaviors, and broadcast measurement techniques.
KPI Vice President Mohamad Reza and Secretary General Umri expressed their gratitude to RTÜK Vice President Deniz Güler for the warm hospitality, highlighting their appreciation for the insights gained into RTÜK’s regulatory framework and technological infrastructure. Concluding with hopes for enhanced cooperation, the visit laid a strong foundation for ongoing knowledge exchange and potential joint projects in media regulation between the two countries.
