Within the framework of the collaboration protocol signed between the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media (REM) of Serbia and the Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) in July of last year, a delegation led by the President of Serbia REM, Olivera Zekic, officially visited RTÜK on January 23, 2024.

During the meeting, a detailed presentation about RTÜK's activities was given, and a question-and-answer session was conducted among the participants.

Strong messages of collaboration were conveyed between the broadcasting authorities of the two countries during the discussions.

One of the highlighted topics in the friendly discussions was violence in the media. The Serbian delegation gathered information about RTÜK's successful projects and strategies in combating violence in the media.

The collaboration on combating violence in media content will contribute to raising awareness in societies and making the media environment safer.
