Ambassador Mr. Reşad Memmedov and accompanying delegation were hosted by President Ebubekir Şahin. Two brother countries exchanged views and evaluated on the latest developments in broadcasting area. Undersecretary Eldar Aliyev and Chief Secretary Aygün Gojayeva from Azerbaijani Embassy attended the meeting, while Supreme Council Vice President Deniz Güler and Deputy Head of the International Relations Department Osman Arvas accompanied RTÜK President Mr. Şahin.

 During the meeting which was held in a friendly atmosphere, Ambassador Mr. Memmedov stated that Türkiye-Azerbaijan relations was recognized and appreciated especially by Turkic states, and served as a worldwide model.  The Ambassador pointed out that the two primary countries on this geography were actually a single nation, and he emphasized that the new generation should be raised it was vital that young people and children should be raised with this consciousness. RTÜK President Ebubekir Şahin stated that Azerbaijan had a special affinity for Turkish nation and that it was not possible to separate  these united counties from each other. He said that meticulously preserving and strengthening these relations between the two countries would make great contributions to the entire geography. Mr. Şahin also indicated that they have had an exceptional relation with the Chairman of the Audiovisual Council (ARAŞ) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. İsmet Sattarov, and they have been constantly in contact regarding T-BRAF, the Organization of Turkic States Regulatory Authorities Forum, which was planned to be established in autumn at the helm of RTÜK and under the umbrella of Organization of Turkic States . It was mentioned by the parties that Turkish historical films, in particular, contributed positively to the relations between the two brother countries and these films should be supported.

The meeting ended with gift exchanges and blessing.
